Yemi Daramola trained as a lawyer and project/change manager with a niche for brand development, but he is by inclination an adept thinker that enjoys the beauty of letters when it comes to expressing legitimate thoughts. He will score high as a poet. Yemi obtained his LLM in International Humanitarian Law at a point when he was considering change as an essential tool in escaping social dysfunction. He had a tutorial in vulnerability theory that drives his interests in observing the relationship between human vulnerability and institutional role for corporate good. He was particularly inspired by Martha Fineman’s theory of vulnerability, which is popularly considered by human rights scholars, and professionals from other fields of humanity. Yemi thinks as the world becomes more democratised there should be more need to look at issues from a more humanitarian angle in offering solutions, rather than the accustomed radical activism against tyranny, though he does not condemn that need when it becomes unavoidable. He thinks as society becomes more civil, so does the awareness go against brute tendency that should shift focus of human rights more towards passion to attend to permanent mortal vulnerability. Yemi enjoys being invited for a game of snooker, he likes music, a compelling movie, and hanging out with his friends or making new ones. An avid reader and a writer.
