A report by the Audio Publishers Association showed double-digit growth for audiobook sales last year. Total sales rose 18.2% to an estimated £1.5 billion, with unit sales rising 33.9% to 89.5 million.

Our preference is always for a human narrator, so we have two stages to produce your audiobook:
1) Make your book available for narrator auditions on a royalty share basis with a selected narrator;
2) If no human narrators come forward for your audiobook, we have a second option of having the audio automatically created with the customer being able to choose the voice that they listen to the book in. This is intended to recreate the sense of story-telling with different voices reading the text to different readers.
Many of you will be asking ‘how are we able to offer this service at such a reasonable rate?’ The answer is simple: rather than a hefty upfront fee our narrators have agreed to receive 50% of the net sales receipts or we have used the services of one of our technology partners.
